The Tower Card: One Description Watched From Every Tool

From a tower, everything below is visible at once — which is exactly what a series needs. A character described separately at every tool is seen from eight different vantages and matches at none of them. A character written once on a tower card is watched from a single vantage, and every tool below works under the same eye.

The card holds five lines in fixed order. Age, a plain number. Hair — colour, length, one habitual style. Build in two or three words. Face — one or two enduring details. Signature — the detail that survives a tight crop. The day’s work line goes beneath it: outfit, setting, hour, light — the things meant to change from frame to frame.

Paste the card word for word at the head of every prompt, whichever tool is running. Generate at standard, judge from the tower against the card, and let finishing tools touch only what has been seen and passed.

One vantage, one card, one woman. That is the whole advantage of height.
